Coaches and volunteers from our seniors, minis and mixed ability sections took part in the RFU’s Play It Safe safeguarding course — because at Cainscross Rugby Club, keeping our players, members and supporters safe is something we take seriously.

Thanks to the efforts of our brilliant safeguarding officers Fiona and Sasha, the course was delivered just next door to the club. And a big thank you to Becca O’Neil for leading the session — she made an important topic engaging, informative, and even managed to bring a few laughs along the way.

We all took away some valuable insights and now have plans in place to build on the great work already happening across the club. All part of getting ready for the new season.
