Bill Adams Cup Semi Final - Cainscross 31 vs Wotton 7

A great way to kick off the season. The first half saw some fast, flowing rugby with tries from Laurence Coates, Connor Voyce, Ollie Burrows and Max King. Ben Pope converted three of them, giving us a solid 26–0 lead at the break.
The second half was a different story. Wotton turned up the pressure and eventually broke through with a converted try from Adam Carter. Handling errors from both sides meant the game never really found its rhythm, and with so many scrums, it started to feel more like a training session than a semi-final. Eventually, things went uncontested.
With 10 minutes to go, skipper and scrum-half Mark Newman darted over the line for the final score of the match.
Plenty to take away and work on ahead of next week’s final. Let’s get down to training on Tuesday and for a great session.
