Hard work has certainly paid off for Cainscross RFC’s under 11s team.

Earlier this year they emerged as champions in the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup for their age group.

The tournament assessed teams based on the rugby values of TREDS (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship). The team demonstrated exceptional teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Their achievement not only celebrated their on-field skills but also acknowledged the club’s commitment to nurturing young rugby players with strong values.

Their victory earned them an incredible reward: a trip to Twickenham for the Premiership Rugby Cup Final match. The experience at Twickenham Stadium was a dream come true for the team. They had the opportunity to meet professional rugby players, witness an incredible cup final, and take part in a pitch parade during halftime.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup victory serves as a testament to Cainscross RFC’s dedication to developing the next generation of rugby stars. It highlights the importance of the TREDS values that extend beyond the game itself. Cainscross RFC expresses gratitude to the Gloucester RFU and the RFU for providing this unforgettable experience.
